Base tans are applied the day before the main event. The location and times will be provided before the event via email.

Loose clothing and footwear. (Such as loose dress or loose track pants and a hoodie, onsie, slides/thongs)

·    If it is raining you will need full coverage clothing and an umbrella. 

Top coats, touch ups, glazing, hair and makeup are all done at the venue of the competition and we are there until the event closes for your every need. You will be emailed a schedule with your time allocation.

We recommend a satin or cotton robe/gown to put on after your tan to avoid marks before stage. Please ensure you bring this with you to the tan booths.

Most competitors will need to be nude for their tans as wearing underwear will create tan lines.

If you are in women's fitness only you can wear a disposable G-string, all other categories will require you to be nude in the booth.

Mens bodybuilding will require you to be nude in the booth, alternately you can wear a sock attached with a hair tie if you prefer. most other categories you can wear small underwear or a disposable G-string.

We use Black Magic Muscle tan and Base tan. These are specifically designed for comp and stage presence. You can see their website for further details regarding the tan product. 

1. Have a full body exfoliation/scrub the day before (no oily scrubs). This will ensure your tan sticks properly

2. Shower at least 2hours prior to your tan with an oil and moisturiser free wash (your skin needs time to air dry sufficiently)

3. Do not apply moisturiser to the body (face is okay)

4. DO NOT WEAR deodorant (it turns green)

5. If you are training on the day, ensure you train BEFORE your tan.

Yes, with our tans, we require you to sleep in your tan and then shower in the morning before you arrive for your top coat.  Use body wash or soap and if you like you can wash your hair. 

 DO NOT apply any body lotions, deodorant or anything else to the skin.

Unfortunately we will not be able to alter the tanning schedule to accomodate external bookings. You can upgrade your package to include hair and makeup with Comptan.

Please also keep in mind external makeup may not match your top coat and we cannot apply touch up makeup if over spray is accidentally misted onto the face.

Yes.

As soon as you leave the venue you are exposing your tan to the world. You may get seatbelt marks, sitting marks, rained on etc. This may not be fixable so it is advisable where possible to remain at the venue.
